There are around 600,000 (only) registered foreigners living in mainland China. Though it seems a lot - it's less than 0.5% of the general population! **According to 2012 records**

Gold tip#1

If you are living in China and you are scheduling a service / anything at your house at a specific time - make sure you'll be home! Chinese are VERY punctual.

Chinese usualy don't say no, so if someone is trying to avoid, get the hint, don't pressure:)

Anything you do here in China - be patient. Sometimes it takes time here to do stuff, not matter if it's in an official office or a serviceman, it might take time.. Be ready:)
