Matsuko restaurant – review
A few days ago a friend invited me to go to a Japanese restaurant called Matsuko.
And who am I to pass on an invitation to taste some good food?

Tuna roll
The place is designed in Japanese style (surprise surprise) – and they did a fine job..! It feels very authentic.
We were seated by a wooden table with wooden benches to sit on (don’t worry – they will give you pillows;) ) and ordered some Asai beer (nice Japanese one), and we got peanuts as small snack with it, which was cool of them.

Salmon roll
We started off with three sushi rolls – salmon, vegetables (different kinds) and avocado.
The sushi was very fresh and tasty!
It was skillfully made – very recommended.

Mushroom rolled in beef
We also took a dish of rolled mushroom in beef – very very good!
For main course we took fried chicken which was very nice, fried rice with vegetables and egg roll which I recommend on trying.
We took some fried dumplings too which were nice, not much more.
The price was also decent, it summed up to 297 for 3 people.
All and all it’s a very nice place to go to.

This is their website – there is an option for English – but it’s not the best website I’ve seen – just look at the pictures:)
You can also checkout the below map for their locations around Beijing (if you are in China you must have VPN to see the location pins).
